Duterte holds 'unscehduled' meeting with Cabinet for 'retooling, guidelines'

MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte met his Cabinet members in Malacañang on Thursday to fine-tune its group.

The assembly was not within the President’s schedule launched by Malacañang, however it was held on the Heroes Hall reportedly for a “retooling” session and “some guidelines” for the Cabinet.

The President’s assembly occurred earlier than he joins the Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) proclamation rally in San Jose Del Monte in Bulacan.

Communications Secretary Martin Andanar, who was current through the assembly, stated the President and Cabinet officers talked “all bout the process” in governance and administrative issues.

“This has been scheduled way back. [We talked about] retooling and pointers for the Cabinet group,“ he informed INQUIRER.internet

“We spoke about the preparations for Sona (State of the Nation Address),” he added. /jpv
